1) It is your responsibility
to check this invoice and your documents
when you receive them and noti’ us immediately if you have any questions or
note any discrepancies. Traveler’s retention of tickets reservations or
bookings after issuance shall constitute acceptance of all the provisions in
the conditions listed hereto as well as those terms and conditions set forth in
the announcements and circulars of the tour/package cruise or service, and an
agreement on his/her part to convey the contents to his/her travel companions
or group members.
2) IDENTIFICATION: It is your responsibility to verif’ any and all
identification, passport, visa, vaccination, or other entry requirements of
your selected method of transportation and of your destination(s) and all
conditions regarding health, safety, security, political stability, and labor
or civil unrest at such destination(s). Failure to produce the required
documents may result in denied boarding with no compensation.
3) CHANGES OR CANCELLATIONS — AIR TICKETS:
Most discount airfares involve certain restrictions, To change or cancel your
flight itinerary, you must do so prior to your originally scheduled departure.
No value remains if you wait until afler the flight departure to make this
change or cancellation. The airlines may impose fees to process changes or cancellations.
In many instances, tickets are non-refundable. Airline tickets, once issued,
are non-transferable.
4) CHANGES OR CANCELLATIONS — TOURJCRUISE/l-IOTEL/CAR
RESERVATIONS: If you are holding prepaid or guaranteed reservations you wish to
cancel, you must notify the travel agency and/or the vendor as soon as possible
in order to avoid any nonreftindable charges. Deposits and prepayinents are
subject to the vendor’s cancellation policy, which maybe up to 100% of the
amount paid. In addition, this travel agency imposes a processing fee for
cancellations which may not he covered by travel insurance.
5)TOUR/CRUISE PACKAGE PRICES: These are
subject to change without notice due to currency fluctuations, tariff changes,
tax increases, fuel surcharges, other miscellaneous surcharges or increase in
operational costs. In addition, group packages are based on a minimum number of
passengers traveling. If the number of passengers falls below the minimum
required, a surcharge may be imposed on all passengers.
6) INSURANCE: Your personal insurance may not adequately cover losses incurred
by cancellation, accident, illness or stolen or damaged property. There are
different types of medical, baggage or trip cancellation/interruption insurance
which may be available from the vendor or independently. Insurance coverage
will often not cover pre-existing conditions or supplier default and may have
other restrictions and exclusions. We strongly urge you to purchase additional
insurance offered to you and read all of the information carefully.
RESPONSIBILITY
The travel agency acts only as agent
in all matters connected with the making and securing of reservations for
transportation, accommodations, tours, and/or other arrangements for the retail
clients of this agency and for various disclosed principals and contractors in
the form of airlines, ship lines, tour wholesalers, limousine services, and
owners or contractors providing accommodations, transportation and/or other
services, hereinafter referred to as “suppliers.” This travel agency does not
own, manage, control, or operate any transportation vehicle, hotel, restaurant,
insurance company, tour or sightseeing company or any other service that we
would fit into the classification of “supplier.”
As an agent, all coupons,
exchange orders, receipts, contracts and tickets issued by this travel agent
and/or other “suppliers” arc subject to any and all related tariffs as well as
the terms and conditional specified by each “supplier.” The acceptance of such
coupons, exchange orders, receipts, contracts and tickets shall be deemed to be
consent to the foregoing conditions and also to the fbrther condition that
neither this travel agency nor any of its representatives shall be or become
liable or responsible for any loss, injury or damage to person, property or
otherwise in connection with any accommodations, transportation or othcr
scrvices resulting directly or indirectly from any acts of God, including but
not limited to dangers incident to the sea, fire, breakdown in machinery or
equipment, acts of governments or other authorities, dejure or de facto, wars,
whether declared or not, hostilities, civil disturbances, strikes, riots,
thefts, pilferage, epidemics, quarantines medical or customs regulations,
defaults, delays, or cancellation of or changes in itinerary, routing or
schedules from any cause beyond the control of this travel agency or from any
loss or damage resulting from insufficient improperly issued passports, visas
or other documents and that neither this travel agency nor any of its
representatives shall be or become liable or responsible for any additional
liability sustained or incurred as a result of the foregoing causes.
This
travel agency is not responsible nor liable for defaults of “suppliers” or any
other person, company or incorporation not directly under its control. In the
case of air, ship, rail, automobile, or other form of transportation, the
passenger contract in use by the provider of such transportation, when issued,
shall constitute the sole contract between the passenger and such airline, ship
line, railroad, car rental or other company.
ADVISORY
For information concerning possible dangers at international

(404-332-4559). By embarking upon his/her journey, the traveler voluntarily
assumes all risks involved in such travel, whether expected or unexpected. This
agency is not responsible for cancellation of any service and/or refunds from
any supplier or carrier that may cease operations. Traveler is hereby warned of
the above risks as well as possible travel industry bankruptcies and medical
and climactic disruptions and is advised to obtain appropriate insurance
coverage against them. By accepting this invoice or itinerary, traveler hereby
agrees to release The Travel Gallery from all claims arising out of any problem
covered in this Responsibility section, and to submit all other claims within 30
days after the return of your trip.
